Argument about whether Race should be considered in admissions to selective state and private universities. The first argument, was about the University of North Carolina including race in admissions decisions, to deal with old discrimination that occurred generations ago. Because now the policy has added new kinds of discrimination EXCLUDING people based on their race or ethnic group.
